Veil Of Remembrance | Original Artwork

My work explores memory, femininity, and the emotional weight of domestic and inherited materials. I’m drawn to themes of intergenerational transmission — the ways gestures, grief, love, and rebellion are passed down, especially through women. There’s often a tension between presence and absence, visibility and concealment. I use motifs like lace, veils, cicadas, and old garments to evoke childhood, longing, and the unseen labour of care.
